The reality about Crosspoint is that we live in different parts of the greater Edmonton area. We are the church both scattered and gathered.
The one thing we have in common is that we live in neighbourhoods. Where we live is no accident. God has placed us there for a purpose - even if it's for a season.
We believe Christ has called us to be the church in our neighbourhoods. This is what the term neighbouring refers to. It means to incarnate the gospel where you live, by showing it in practical and intentional ways. Neighbouring involves demonstrating the gospel before declaring the gospel. As the old adage goes: "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."
You can't love your neighbour if you don't know your neighbour. You can't serve your neighbour if you don't know your neighbour. The starting point for neighbouring is to get to know your neighbours.
One of the ways to do this is to host a block party with our Portable Party Pack.
Another way to connect with your neighbours is by using this handy Neighbouring Door Hanger.
