Kid’s Kapers is a theme-based summer day-camp for children in northeast Edmonton that seeks to provide an unforgettable yet affordable camp experience.
Our camp is set apart by the incredible volunteers that give of their resources, time, and talent to make Kid’s Kapers a reality. There are teams behind the scenes that begin preparing crafts, games, stories, music, and outings for camp months in advance. Others commit to serving the kids in the community as leaders during the week of camp.

Who can attend Kid’s Kapers?
Kid’s Kapers is for children who live in northeast Edmonton. There will be one week of camp for preschool kids (ages 3-5) and three weeks of camp for elementary kids (grades 1-6 in the 2024-25 school term).

When is Kid’s Kapers?
The Preschool Camp will take place the week of July 1-5. The Elementary Camps will take place during the weeks of July 8-12, July 22-26, and July 29-August 2. Campers may attend one week of Kid’s Kapers.
What is a typical day like at Kid’s Kapers?
Here is what a typical day looks like:

* The Preschool Camp will end at 12:00pm each day (except for Friday).
** On Friday families are invited to attend a short program with highlights from the week at 12:00pm, followed by a free lunch. Camp ends at 1:00pm on Friday.
Is lunch provided?
With the exception of Friday, lunch is not provided. Elementary campers are asked to bring a bag lunch. Preschool campers will not be eating lunch at camp.
Snacks will be supplied each day.
What safety precautions are in place?
Our desire is to create a safe and fun environment for all children who attend. Each of our volunteers must complete a risk management training course, which includes vulnerable sector checks. The camp will be staffed on a ratio of 1 adult leader for every 5–10 campers. There will also be someone with First Aid Certification on site.
How much does Kid’s Kapers cost?
We only charge $40 per camper for the whole week of camp. The charge for additional children in the same family is $20. Additional funding is available if this cost would prevent your children from attending Kid’s Kapers.
Who is sponsoring the camp?
Kid’s Kapers is a community service of Crosspoint Church in northeast Edmonton.
