Who We Are
We are a student ministry that is passionate about helping students become fully devoted followers of Christ. Our hearts beat to see students find a place in our community and in the greater body of Christ. Our youth team serves students within the Crosspoint community as well as within the northeast Edmonton community.
If you are in grades 7-12 we invite you to join us not only in our student ministry but in the Crosspoint family.
What We Do
We have three different types of events that we run for our youth ministry.
THE MOVEMENT
The Movement is our Junior and Senior High night that runs Wednesdays at the Crosspoint Church Campus (12235 50th street). It’s a night that is full of games, teaching, small groups, and space that connects students in a welcoming midweek environment. These nights are for students in Grades 7-12. We meet from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
COLLIDE
These are our Friday night events for both Junior and Senior High students. We meet on Fridays once or twice a month.
COLLIDE is a safe place to bring friends to. We help students connect with other students while we creatively share the truth of the Gospel. This might include activities and use these events as a springboard toward spiritual conversations. We will sometimes attend worship gatherings with other youth groups throughout the city. These events are designed to help reach out to students in the northeast community who are not yet plugged into a church community.
THE WKND
The WKND is our fall retreat, a weekend to get away from the city and create a space for God to move in the lives of students. We aim to create memories around fun, creative, impactful games and create an environment where students can hear the Word and worship together. This retreat takes place at Teen Time Camp.
OTHER EVENTS
We also host other events such as our annual kick-off party, spring conference, Galaxyland, Waterpark, and so much more. These are great events for students to bring friends to.
