Managing your Load
September 29, 2013 Series: Margin
Topic: Weekend Gathering Message Passage: Ephesians 5:15–5:17
MARGIN is the space between our LIMITS and our LOAD.
The Big Idea:
Your life is determined by how you manage your LOAD, not just how large your LOAD is.
Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
Managing your LOAD means ______________________________.
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
1 Timothy 3:4-5
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)
Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred.
Managing your LOAD ______________________.
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Managing your LOAD is something ______________________.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Managing your LOAD requires keeping _____________________________________
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
