We will continue to provide you updates in the days ahead. We have over one hundred piggy banks still in distribution and look forward to receiving more funds.
What is this project all about?
Crosspoint Church is partnering with World Vision to help rescue children - boys and girls - who are exploited by Phnom Penh's commercial sex trade in Cambodia. Our goal is to raise at least $40,000 to provide a new life for exploited girls and boys in this city.
We gave away nearly 600 piggy banks to friends and family who wanted to help us make a difference. We asked everyone to collect their loose change over the next 90 days to reach our goal of raising the funds to rescue, restore and rehabilitate 25 children.
All monies collected will go directly to World Vision (not Crosspoint Church) and will be applied directly to the project. Every piggy bank that is returned with more than $20 inside will be eligible for a tax deductible receipt from World Vision.
