Sunday Gatherings

Crosspoint Gathering 600

Our church community gathers together on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am to sing, laugh, learn, and experience God.

We are a community of Christ-followers who are enthused with and engaged with God's mission in the world. We see our Sunday gatherings as a place of preparation, rather than a destination.  The church is not a building or an event.  It is the people of God, on a mission, in the world. Come gather with us.

We gather at Londonderry Junior High School, located at 7104 - 144 Avenue NW.

The Backstory...

On Tuesday, January 25, 2011, the roof of the Northgate Lions Seniors Recreation Centre collapsed under a pile of snow.  This was the gathering place of Crosspoint Church for nearly five months. It was a great facility that is no longer available to us.  Thankfully, nobody was hurt.

At Crosspoint, we believe that the church is the people of God, partnering with God in his mission in the world.  So the church is not a building and it's not an institution.  It's a people who have put their faith and trust in Christ and have been welcomed into his family.  Our community saw this as an exciting opportunity to follow God in whatever he's up to.

So our community prayed.  We also formed a task-force to take on the challenge of finding a new location to meet. We needed a location that was true to where we felt God was calling us, and it had to meet our specific ministry needs.  It was quite a challenge, but In the first five days we found a location, Dr. Donald Massey School. This was to be a temporary location for us.  We met there for three weeks and are thankful for the time we spent there.  Plus, it gave us the time needed to find our current location, Londonderry Junior High.
